WrapViz

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026-07-29

This is a working draft covering how WrapViz actually operates today — not legal advice, and hasn't had a lawyer's review. Same honesty bar as the privacy policy: real launch needs sign-off, this just means the app isn't shipping with no terms at all. See also the Legal Notice for who operates this service, and the Privacy Policy for data handling.

What WrapViz is

WrapViz generates an AI-produced preview image of a vehicle wrap colour/finish, based on a photo you upload. The result is a visualization aid, not a guarantee of how an actual vinyl wrap installation will look — see the colour-accuracy disclaimer shown with every render.

Acceptable use

  • Only upload photos of vehicles you own or have the right to photograph and edit.
  • Don't upload photos containing other identifiable people without their consent.
  • Don't use the service to generate misleading, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • Don't attempt to bypass rate limits, free-render caps, or credit/payment checks.
  • Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the underlying API or catalogue.

Your uploads

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant WrapViz a limited licence to process that photo (including sending it to the third-party AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy) solely to generate your render and operate the service.

Generated images

Renders are AI-generated derivative images based on your uploaded photo. You may use the renders you generate for personal or business purposes (e.g. sharing with a wrap shop for a quote). WrapViz does not claim ownership over your renders, but makes no warranty that a given render is free of third-party rights issues (for example, if your source photo itself contains material you didn't have rights to use).

Wrap film brand and colour names shown in the catalogue (e.g. 3M, Avery, Inozetek, Orafol, KPMF) and vehicle makes/models referenced on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. WrapViz is an independent visualization tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these brands — see the disclaimer shown alongside the catalogue and in the footer.

AI-generated content

Every image WrapViz produces is synthetically generated by an AI image model from your source photo — it is not a photograph. Outputs are labelled as AI-generated in the product; do not present a WrapViz render as an unedited photograph.

Pricing & payment

Consumer credit packs are one-off purchases — WrapViz never enrolls individual car owners in a subscription or recurring charge. Current pack pricing is shown on the credits page before you pay. Wrap shops may separately subscribe to a monthly/annual plan, billed and managed through Stripe, cancellable at any time from the shop dashboard.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. Because a WrapViz render is digital content delivered immediately (within seconds of purchase), that withdrawal right can be lost once generation begins — but only if you have expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right at the point of purchase, not merely by having agreed to these Terms in general.

TODO: the explicit acknowledgement described above is not yet implemented at checkout — this paragraph currently states the rule but does not enforce it. Needs a checkout-time consent step (e.g. a checkbox before payment) before this pack purchase flow is actually compliant. Also confirm with Abdelilah whether unused credits within a pack (i.e. credits bought but never spent on a render) should remain refundable within 14 days, since the "immediate digital delivery" exception arguably only applies once a specific render is actually generated — not to the underlying purchased balance sitting unused. Until decided, don't assume a whole pack is non-withdrawable; it may need to be narrowed to a per-render basis once the checkout step is built.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." WrapViz is not liable for decisions made based on a render's colour or finish accuracy — always confirm against a physical film swatch before committing to an installation. To the extent permitted by law, WrapViz's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific render(s) or subscription period giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). WrapViz may suspend or terminate access for use that violates the acceptable-use section above.
